    Dorothy Hardeman died circa 1790. She died after she was paid for the beef, 9 August 1782, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, and before 26 November 1791, when her children began selling their parts of John Hardeman's estate. John Hardeman’s will left all his property, both real and personal, to his wife Dorothy. After her death all the property was to be equally divided among their children.
    26 November 1791, Glen Owen and Dorothy Owen of Wilkes County, Georgia, being legatees of part of the estate of John Hardiman, formerly of Guilford County, North Carolina, deceased, sold to John Hardiman of Wilkes County, Georgia, all our right, title, claim, and demand as legatees or any other claim against said estate and have received full satisfaction.42
    26 November 1791, Richard Raffity and Jane Raffity of Wilkes County, Georgia, being legatees of part of the estate of John Hardiman, formerly of Guilford County, North Carolina, deceased, sold to John Hardiman of Wilkes County, Georgia, all our rights, titles, claims, and demands as legatees or any other claim against said estate and have received full satisfaction for same.43
    4 December 1791, William Strong and Susanna Strong of Wilkes County, Georgia, being legatees of part of the estate of John Hardiman, formerly of Guilford County, North Carlina, deceased, sold to John Hardiman of Wilkes County, Georgia, all our right, title, claim, and
