    J. H. Roulhac went to Franklin College near Nashville, Tennessee. He read law and began practice in September 1855. He abandoned his law practice in 1872 and entered the ministry in January 1873. He continued his ministry in southwest Kentucky and western Tennessee.

Margaret L. “Maggie” Roulhac, born circa 1840, Rutherford County, Tennessee, died between 1880 and 1900, Davidson County, Tennessee, married first, 1 January 1860, Hickman, Fulton County, Kentucky, to John A. Lauderdale,991 born circa 1834, died before 1875. John A. Lauderdale lived in Fulton County, Kentucky, in 1860 and 1870; his wife and her mother, Agatha Roulhac, lived with him.992
    She married second, circa 1875, to William M. Marr, born 27 April 1832, died between 1900 to 1910. He may have died 2 November 1904, Shelby County, Tennessee.993 They had a son, Constant M. Marr, born circa 1876. In 1880, W. M. Marr, Margaret Marr, Constant M. Marr, Agatha Roulhas, Julia Kerness, and James Kerness lived in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.994 In 1900, William M. Marr was a boarder in the household of Abraham Setliff in Nashville. He was widowed and sold life insurance.995 Constant M. Marr, son of William M. Marr and Margaret, was an inmate in the Central State Hospital for the Insane in Nashville in 1910 and 1920.996
