Scales, born 8 January 1855, Dyer County, Tennessee, died 19 September 1882, Gibson County, Tennessee,1030 married 18 May 1881, Crockett County, Tennessee, as his second wife, to D. G. Tull.1031 D. G. Tull, M.D. of Yorkville, Tennessee, was born in 1837. He was raised in Williamson County, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Nashville in 1860. Tull was a Confederate soldier. After the war he moved to Trimble’s Station, Obion County, Tennessee. He married 5 February 1868, to Miss T. Hamilton who died in 1877.1032 Tull married in 1881 to Sallie N. Scales, daughter of Major William P. and Mary Scales.1033
268. iv. Thomas Hardeman Scales, born 22 March 1857, Dyer County, Tennessee, died 28 January 1861, buried in the Hardeman Cemetery in Grenada County, Mississippi.1034 This is the cemetery of Thomas Hardeman, the eldest brother of Mary Bailey Hardeman Scales.
