    Deed of Gift, 15 December 1802, Thomas Hardiman of Davidson County, Tennessee, gave to John Hardeman, for love and affection, to my son John, a tract on both sides of Big Harpeth, beginning at northwest corner of a survey conveyed to Eleazar Hardeman by Thomas Hardeman, part of tract granted to John G. Blount and Thomas Blount in May 1793 as assignee of William Crow.97
    3 December 1803, Willis Blount of Knox County, Tennessee, sold to Thomas Hardeman of Davidson County, Tennessee, for $1500, tract on Big Harpeth River, beginning at William Mabin’s east line, is 1097 acres which was originally granted to William Blount by Patent #17, dated 14 March 1786, and which tract was sold by Nicholas Perkins Hardeman by court order.98
    In 1803 Thomas Hardeman moved from Davidson County to Williamson County. Williamson County was formed in 1799 from Davidson County. Thomas Hardeman paid taxes in Williamson County, Tennessee, from 1800 to 1813. In 1800 he paid taxes on 640 acres. In 1802 he paid taxes on 1213 acres. He owned a total of 2,900 acres on Big and Little Harpeth in Williamson County. He also owned land in Louisiana, in 1810, in Orleans Parish and near Opelousas and Attakapas. He bought a total of 2,160 acres in Williamson County, on Big Harpeth.
    15 January 1805, William Turnbull of Davidson County, Tennessee, sold to Thomas Hardeman, for $500, 100 acres on both sides of Big Harpeth River, beginning near General Moore’s northwest corner and Pinkham Eaton’s southwest corner, adjoining northeast corner of land granted to James Randolph Robertson, and southeast corner of Turnbull’s land. Tract adjoins John Buchanan and Capt. Dooly.99
    17 January 1807 in Williamson County, Tennessee, Thomas Hardeman sold to Peter Hardeman, for $800, tract on Five Mile Creek a branch of Big Harpeth, beginning at William Mabin’s east line, is 548 acres, a part of tract originally granted to William Blount.100
