| Thomas Hardeman, Esq., 84th year of age, died in Williamson County, Tennessee.102 He died 3 June 1833.103

| | A hand copied list from the birth’s pages of the Thomas Hardeman bible has been handed down in the family. There is no publication date for the bible. The majority of his children and their birth dates can be proved through other sources cited in this manuscript. Thomas Hardeman and Mary Hardin Perkins had fourteen children. Three of the children, Susannah, Pitt, and Franklin, didn’t reach adulthood.

| | Thomas and Mary Hardeman’s grandson, Peter Hardeman Burnett, was born 15 November 1807 in Davidson County, Tennessee. In his book, Recollections and Opinions of an Old Pioneer, published in 1880, Burnett said that his mother was a daughter of Thomas Hardeman. Burnett said his grandfather Hardeman was born in Virginia, January 8, 1750; and his brother who he never saw settled in Georgia. He said that Thomas Hardeman reared eight sons and three daughters: Nicholas Perkins, Nancy, John, Constant, Eleazar, Peter, Dorothy, Thomas Jones, Blackstone, Elizabeth, and Bailey. Burnett didn’t mention the three children who didn’t reach adulthood.104
