| Hardeman Stone paid taxes in 1802 in Wilkes County, Georgia.163 Hardiman Stone drew one blank in the 1805 Georgia Land Lottery from Oglethorpe County.164 In 1805, Hardeman Stone witnessed the will of Christina Miller in Chatham County, Georgia.165 In the 1807 Georgia Land Lottery, Hardeman Stone of Chatham County, Pettybone’s District, drew Lot 91 in the 12th District of Baldwin County.166

| Dorcas Stone, born circa 1775, Pittsylvania County, Virginia, died before 12 March 1803,167 married Bartholomew Smith, born circa 1763,168 will made 25 December 1849, proved October 1854, Dickson County, Tennessee.169 Bartholomew and Dorcas Smith had son, Mumford Smith. Bartholomew Smith married second, 12 March 1803, Davidson County, Tennessee, to Dorothy “Dolly” Everett,170 born circa 1777,171 daughter of John Everett and Ester Hardeman. Dorothy “Dolly” Everett was Dorcas Stone’s first cousin. [See #28, Dorothy “Dolly” Everett].
