Thomas Hardeman to Peter Hardeman.172 Thomas Hardeman was John H. Stone’s uncle and Peter Hardeman was John H. Stone’s first cousin and brother-in-law.
    Peter Hardeman married John’s sister, Susannah Stone. Blackstone Hardeman was John H. Stone’s first cousin; Blackstone was a son of Thomas Hardeman.
    John H. Stone lived in Dickson County, Tennessee, in 1820.173

William Stone, born 8 December 1782, Washington County, North Carolina (now Tennessee), died 5 October 1865, Calloway County, Kentucky, married Keziah Morrisette, born circa 1782, died 23 March 1850, aged 68 years, buried Sullivan Cemetery, Montgomery County, Tennessee.174 Keziah was the daughter of John Morrisette.
    15 August 1811 in Dickson County, Tennessee, Thomas Patton sold to William Stone and John Moody, all of Dickson County, a negro named Monday, aged 17 years old.175 1 October 1811, John Morrisette sold to his son-in-law, William Stone, both of Dickson County, 178 acres on Jones Creek below William Russell, deceased’s tract, and a negro named Peggy, tools and other items.176 7 February 1814, bill of sale, John Kinney of Jackson County, Georgia, sold to William Stone of Dickson County, Tennessee, a negro boy named Monday, about 22 years old, which negro was conveyed from Thomas Patton, 8 May 1807, for $400.177
