| Davis Owen, born 17 September 1794, Oglethorpe County, Georgia, died 15 August 1866, Coweta County, Georgia, married first, 9 March 1814, Oglethorpe County, to Sarah “Sally” Arnold,239 born circa 1798, died 2 May 1849, Coweta County, Georgia, married second, to Ann D. ——, born circa 1807, died 2 February 1853, Coweta County. They are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan, Coweta County.240

| Davis Owen lived in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, in 1820. He lived in Taliaferro County, Georgia, in 1830. He moved to Coweta County, Georgia, by 1835, when he was executor for the estate of William M. Stokes in Coweta County. Davis Owen paid taxes in Coweta County, Georgia, in 1845, in Town District.
