She married circa 1783, Guilford County, North Carolina, to Sneed Strong, born 8 February 1761, died 30 June 1833, Rockingham County, North Carolina, aged 72.311

| | Sneed Strong served in the Revolutionary War. Alexander Lemonds applied for a Revolutionary pension in 1832 in Rockingham County, North Carolina. He stated in his application that he volunteered in 1779 in Rockingham County. He said Sneed Strong was with him when he volunteered in 1779.312 In August of 1827, Sneed Strong of Rockingham County, North Carolina, made oath for William Shropshire. Strong stated that he and Shropshire served together and they received their discharge at the same time. John W. Crunk also served with Shropshire.313

| | Sneed Strong was the son of John Strong, born 2 November 1734, died 21 March 1811, Rockingham County, North Carolina, aged 77, married circa 1758, Sarah Sneed, born circa 1741, died 30 August 1827, aged 86.314 John Strong’s will named wife, Sarah, and children: Sneed Strong, William Strong, John Strong, Zachariah Strong, Agnes Grogan, and Robert Strong.315
