| | There was another William Strong who made deeds in Wilkes County, Georgia. The other William Strong owned large tracts of land. William Strong, who married Susannah Hardeman, never owned more than 200 acres.

| | On 29 March 1804 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, Thomas Colley sold to William Strong, both of Oglethorpe County, for $227.50, all the tract where William Strong now lives, 157 acres on Long Creek waters in said county, adjoining Benjamin Wilkes and George Phillips, is part of two surveys granted to Allen Kellough and Oliver Wallace, in 1785.329

| | 12 December 1809 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, William Strong sold to John Rupert, both of Oglethorpe County, for $300, 104 acres on Long Creek waters and Troublesome Creek. Susanna, wife of Wm. Strong, relinquished dower rights, 28 December 1809.331
