| | On 12 November 1751 in Albemarle County, Virginia, Hugh Magarrock, John Hardeman, and Sackeverell Whitebread witnessed a deed from George Holmes Gwin & wife Elizabeth to James Palmer, 347 acres on Wolf Trap Branch of Mountain Creek in Albemarle County, adjoining Bolling, Wood, and Strange.19

| | 27 September 1754, Colonel John Bolling, patented 6,767 acres in Albemarle County among the branches of Willis’s Creek, by a branch of the Cat Tail, crossing the Mountain Creek, in a meadow, to a small meadow the branch of the Cat Tail, adjoining Alexander Stinson, George Kleinhoof, Ridgway, Anthony Sharroon, Susanna Carner, Richard Gwin, and Henry Beard. Most of this land was patented to Bolling, 20 July 1748. Refers to several other patents.20

Lydia, wife of William Bean, relinquished dower rights. No witnesses.21
