| 6 December 1827, Oglethorpe County: Moses Wilkes, Aaron Wilkes, Osborn Wilkes, Jno. Wilkes, Benajah Wilkes, Sarah Wilkes, and John B. Strong, heirs and distributes of Sarah Wilkes, deceased, sold to Benjamin W. Ogilvie of aforesaid county, for $1000, 265 ½ acres on Troublesome Fork of Long Creek, adjoining N. H. Smith, Mark Smith, Bailey Johnson, John Hardeman, and others. It is lots allotted to Sarah and Joels Wilkes, deceased, and the lots of Moses Wilkes as their distributive shares of the real estate of Benjn. Wilkes, deceased, by Writ of Partition. The grantors are heirs and distributes.343
