    14 April 1808 in Williamson County, Tennessee, John Hardeman sold to Nicholas Perkins Hardeman, for $500, Lot 81 in the town of Franklin.424
    14 February 1810 in Williamson County, Tennessee, John Hardeman was one of the trustees of Harpeth Academy.425
    John Hardeman moved from Williamson County, Tennessee, to Howard County, Missouri, in 1817. Three-fourths of John’s land was in Howard County, and one-fourth was in Cole County, Missouri, near Jefferson City.426
    John also owned land below Pointe Coupee near Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 21 May 1804 in Iberville Parish, Louisiana, John Hardeman sold to Joseph Mirchele, a negro slave.
    John Hardeman lived in Howard County, Missouri, but he died in New Orleans, Louisiana, 7 September 1829.427 His 1829 estate inventory included 26 slaves.
