    2 July 1804 in Rutherford County, Tennessee, Constant Hardeman sold to John Marr, 226 acres.457
    Constant Hardeman built Rutherford County landmark, Hardeman’s Mill. It is now called Gregory’s Mill.
    In 1807, Constant Hardeman was commissioner of Jefferson, Rutherford County, Tennessee. Constant bought and sold several pieces of property in Rutherford County.458
    Constant Hardeman is included in the census in Rutherford County, Tennessee, in 1810,459 1820,460 1830,461 1840, and 1850.462
    On 19 November 1818 in Henry County, Virginia, Daniel Worsham and Lyddy, his wife, late Liddy Hardeman, of Rockingham County, North Carolina, sold to Constant Hardeman of Rutherford County, Tennessee, 1/7 part of 1950 acres (278.57 acres), for $400, land where John Marr lived and died on Smith River reaching to the branches of Cascade Creek.463 Liddy Worsham was Constant Hardeman’s aunt; she was the youngest sister of Thomas Hardeman.
