| Nathaniel was the son of William Alexander, born 2 October 1773,88 will made Heard County, Georgia, recorded Coweta County, April 1858.89 William Alexander lived in Greene County, in 1820 and 1830. He bought his land from William McGiboney on Shoulderbone Creek and lived adjoining Wright, Nelson, McGiboney, and Baugh.90 William moved to Heard County, in 1833, where he lived in 1840 and 1850.

Alexander, born circa 1821, died before 1858, Chambers County, Alabama, married 30 December 1837, Coweta County, Mariah Martin; Clarissa Hannah Alexander, born 20 September 1823, died 25 October 1913, Lisbon, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, married 7 November 1839, Coweta County, James Marion Meadows;91 and William S. Alexander, born 15 July 1825, died 4 October 1904, married 13 April 1848, Coweta County, Mary Ann Frances Akins.

| Susan Mapp, born 6 November 1804, died 21 September 1848, Upson County, Georgia, married 2 February 1824, Hancock County, Georgia, to Isaac Dickinson,92 born 12 April 1795, died 17 September 1854, Upson County, both buried Fellowship Church Cemetery, Upson County.93 Isaac Dickinson made his will 16 September 1854, proved 9 November 1854, Upson County.94 Isaac Dickinson lived in Upson County, in 1850.95
