| James Mapp paid taxes in Hancock County, in 1825 on 522 acres in Hancock County, on Shoulderbone Creek, adjoining Howell. James Mapp bought land from James J. Eley in Taliaferro County, 13 January 1842.133 On 3 May 1852, Mary Mapp and Green Moore, administrators of James Mapp, decd. of Greene County, sold land to Rebecca A. Mapp of Taliaferro County.134 Mary Mapp, widow of James Mapp, lived in Greene County, in 1850.135

| Mary Ann Elizabeth Mapp, born circa 1818, died circa 1842, married 15 July 1841, Greene County, to Thomas Kendall.

| Asenath Wooten Mapp, born circa 1820, married 20 February 1843, Greene County, to Thomas Kendall, son of Thomas Henry Kendall, born circa 1790, Richmond County, Georgia, died 1823, Hancock County, Georgia, and Phereby Alford, born circa 1795.136 Mrs. Phereby Kendall married second, as his second wife, 21 April 1825, Hancock County, to Asa C. Alexander. Pheriba Alexander made her will, 23 November 1859, recorded 7 June 1864, Greene County, naming her son, Thomas Henry Kendall.137 Thomas Kendall, who married Asenath Mapp, was a half brother of Joseph K. Alexander, who married Patience Alfriend. Patience was the second wife of William Jasper Mapp, No. 27.

| William L. Mapp, born circa 1822, died circa 1851, married 12 December 1844, Hancock County, to Rebecca A. Mapp, born circa 1829, his first cousin, daughter of Robert H. Mapp and Martha Barnes. William and Rebecca lived in Taliaferro County, Georgia, in 1850. (See No. 28).
