Mapp, born 5 October 1834, will made 23 November 1868, recorded 7 December 1868, Greene County, Georgia,151 married 5 June 1859, Greene County, Teresa Pittman,152 of Washington County, Georgia.153 Robert lived in Greene County, in 1860. Theresa Mapp lived in Greene County, in 1870.154
49. ix. William L. Mapp, born 21 June 1836, died 16 June 1858.
50. x. John Thomas Mapp, born 17 March 1839, died 11 or 17 September 1862.
    Eaton Jefferson Mapp had his name changed from Eaton Jefferson Newby, 24 December 1836.155 He was born 6 August 1816, died 19 November 1887, Warren County, Gerogia, buried White Plains Cemetery, Greene County. He married 30 September 1872, Greene County, Antoinette Snellings. The children of James Housand Mapp were Eaton’s heirs.156 Eaton lived in Greene County, in 1850. He took the Amnesty Oath in 1865 in Greene County., Eaton J. Mapp, age 48, 5’ 7” tall. Eaton J. Mapp lived in Greene County, in 1850, with Alfred H. Jackson.157
    Hilliard Harrison had his name changed to Hilliard Harrison Mapp on the same day Eaton changed his name. Hilliard’s identity is unknown.
