| 6. Isham2Meadows (Daniel1), was born 16 February 1740/1 and baptized 3 January 1741/2 in Bristol Parish, Prince George County, Virginia.37 He died 4 April 1829 in Harris County, Georgia, aged 89.38

| | Isham married circa 1762 in Granville County, North Carolina; his wife’s name hasn’t been proven. He was probably married twice and it is likely that his second wife was the daughter of John Coggin. Isham’s son, Daniel Meadows, named a son, John Coggin Meadows. Six of Isham’s children have been identified. His sons, John, Isham, and James Meadows, were born between 1763 and 1770, and his sons, William, Daniel, and Edward Meadows were born between 1778 and 1783.

| | On 4 June 1755 in Granville County, North Carolina, Isham Meadows, orphan of Daniel Meadows, aged 15 years on February 16, 1755, was bound to Colonel William Person to learn the cooper’s trade (barrel–maker) and to give him two years schooling.39

| | Daniel Meadows and Isham Meadows were sworn chain carriers and Thomas Person was surveyor for a North Carolina plat to Thomas Ownsbey, 6 July 1761, for 680 acres in Granville County, on the south side of Ready Creek, adjoining Daniel’s corner, Mangum’s line, Acock’s line, Walker’s line, and Green’s line.40
