| John Coggin and Isham Meadows were sworn chain carriers and Christopher Haynes was surveyor for a North Carolina land grant to Thomas Person, 10 May 1762. The land was 700 acres in Halifax County, North Carolina, on both sides of Butterwood Creek, adjoining Person’s corner, Alston’s line, and Roper’s line. The land was surveyed 22 February 1762.41
