    Benjamin Meadows lived in Jones County, when the 1820 census was taken. In 1823, Benjamin Meddows and Garrett Hudman of Monroe County, Georgia, sold to John Lewis Ponder of Jasper County, Georgia, Lot No. 16 in the 5th District of Monroe County.52 Benjamin was on the grand jury in Muscogee County, in 1827, and on the grand jury in Harris County, Georgia, in 1828.53 He lived in Harris County, Georgia, in 1830 and 1840.
    Isom Meadows was one of the organizers of the Bethesda Baptist Church, 15 January 1825, in Upson County, Georgia. This church was two miles northwest of Thomaston on the Barnesville Road.54

+20. v. Daniel Meadows, born 1 March 1779, Bute/Warren County, North Carolina, died 28 December 1875, Grantville, Coweta County, Georgia, married 1 Jan. 1801, Wilkes County, Georgia, to Ann Thompson.
