    The Succession of Florida Jane Fowler was filed in Ruston, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, 19 October 1936.743 Petition was filed by her children: Octavia Fowler, resident of Lincoln Parish; Mrs. Geneva Allgood, resident of DeSoto Parish; Frank O. Fowler, resident of Caddo Parish; Mrs. Dana Odom, resident of Union Parish.; Mrs. Clara Cox, resident of Lincoln Parish; Mrs. Velda Pyburn, resident of Rapides Parish (daughter of her deceased daughter, Mrs. Althea Raley), all of full age. Mrs. Florida Jane Fowler, deceased, the mother of your petitioners herein, with the exception of Mrs. Velda Pyburn, who is a granddaughter of Mrs. Florida Jane Fowler. The decedent left as her only heirs, your petitioners. Each received one sixth of the estate.
    Florida J. Fowler left property, real and personal, entirely free of debt. She owned a lot beginning at the northeast corner of Dr. Featherstone’s store lot in the town of Dubach, running East 350 feet; then in a westerly direction parallel with the Arkansas Southern Railway Co. tracks 550 feet, then north 416 feet to starting point, located in Section 27, Township 20 North, Range 3 West. The property had been bought from S. S. Tatum and recorded in Lincoln Parish, Deed Book X, page 71.744

468. i. Elmira Octavia6Fowler, born 26 September 1869, Coweta County, Georgia, died February 1953, Bernice, Union Parish, Louisiana, buried Hamilton Cemetery, Dubach, Lincoln Parish.745 She never married. Aunt Tabie lived in Dubach; she died at Aunt Dana’s house in Bernice, Union Parish.

Geneva Fowler, born 1 April 1872, Coweta County, Georgia, died 30 January 1955, Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana, married 27 April 1895, Lisbon, Claiborne Parish, Francis Daniel Allgood,746 born 27 April 1863, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, died 17 January 1956, Leesville, Vernon Parish, Louisiana, son of Robert Turman Allgood and Martha Evelyn Downs. Dan and Geneva Allgood are buried in Forest Park Cemetery, Shreveport. They lived in Summerfield, Claiborne Parish, in 1900, in Lincoln Parish, in 1910, and in Pike County, Arkansas, in 1920.747
