    On 19 January 1832, James Goodger sold to William Meadows, as guardian of Allen James, a free man of color, 84 acres on the Ogeehy.96 On 21 July 1836, William Meadows sold right of way to the Georgia Railroad for $5.00.97
    William Meadows sold land to Samuel Thompson, 3 January 1822. They were both of Greene County, Georgia.98
    Serena Meadows lived in Taliaferro County, in 1860 and 1870.99
    Children of William Meadows:

Wilie (Wiley)4Meadows, born circa 1807, Greene County, Georgia, died before 1853, married 22 January 1828, Taliaferro County, Georgia, Mary Allen.100 Wilie Meadows lived in Taliaferro County, in 1830.101 Children: James A., born circa 1829, and William D. Meadows, born circa 1831. On 10 November 1853, James A. Meadows sold land to William Baker, both of Warren County, Georgia. This deed mentions “my father Wiley Meadows, decd., and my grandfather, William Meadows.”102 On 14 November 1853, William Baker sold land to William D. Meadows, both of Warren County, Georgia.103
49. ii. James Meadows married 19 July 1829, Taliaferro County, Georgia, Elizabeth Allen.104 James Meadows lived in Taliaferro County, in 1830.105
