| Daniel and Ann Meadows lived in Coweta County, with their son, Samuel Meadows, when the 1860138 and 1870139 censuses were taken. Daniel Meadows owned one male 35 year old black slave in 1860.140

| | Daniel Meadows served in the War of 1812. He applied for bounty land for his service. He served from Greene County, Georgia, in 1814 and 1815, as a private in Capt. John G. Colbert’s Company, Stewart’s Brigade and 2nd Regiment (Thomas’s) Infantry, Georgia Militia, 1812. He was present 12 October 1814 and 13 December 1814. On roll dated 10 October 1814 at Camp Jackson to 28 October 1814, for six months, paid $40.77. He received 80 acres of bounty land on 10 July 1856.141
