| 24. Riley4Meadows (John3, Isham2, Daniel1), was born circa 1798, Wilkes County, Georgia, died after 1850 and before 1854 in Harris County, Georgia. He married 9 January 1823, Wilkes County, Georgia, Elizabeth Pollard,181 born circa 1801, died after the 1860 census was taken in Pike County, Alabama.182 Elizabeth was the daughter of William Pollard, who died before 1820 in Wilkes County, and Jane Thompson, born circa 1772, died after 1850, Harris County.183 Jane was a daughter of Henry Thompson.184

The orphans of John Meadows enrolled for the 1821 Land Lottery in the 151st Travis’s District in Warren County. Riley paid taxes in Greene County, Georgia, in 1824, in Capt. Horatio Nunnelly’s District, on 490 acres in Irwin County, Lot 153. Riley Meadows lived in Taliaferro County, Georgia, in 1830,185 and in Harris County, Georgia, Milner’s District, in 1840 and 1850.186
