| 25. Jesse4Meadows (John3, Isham2, Daniel1), was born circa 1801, Wilkes County, Georgia, died 6 August 1875, aged about 74, Tallapoosa County, Alabama. He made his will 3 September 1870 and a codicil, 25 July 1874, Tallapoosa County.187 Jesse married 29 March 1821, Wilkes County, Georgia, Susan Pollard,188 born circa 1798, Wilkes County, died after 1870, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, daughter of William Pollard and Jane Thompson. Susan was a sister of Elizabeth Pollard who married Jesse’s brother, Riley Meadows.

| | Jesse Meadows was a minor orphan of John Meadows of Greene County, Georgia, in 1815. Jesse paid taxes in 1825 in the 139th District of Greene County, on 85 acres. He lived in Taliaferro County, Georgia, in 1830,189 and in Harris County, Georgia, Milner’s District, in 1840 and 1850.190 He lived in Tallapoosa County, Alabama, in 1860191 and 1870.192
