    Jesse and Susan Meadows are buried in Robinson Cemetery about six miles south of Camp Hill, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, on County Road 89, in unmarked graves. They moved from Harris County, Georgia, to Rock Springs, Alabama, in 1856.193
    Jesse Meadows’s will: of Tallapoosa County, Alabama, of sound mind but weak and feeble in body. Wife, Susan, to retain possession of my homestead, real estate, and personal property so long as she lives. After my death she can sell said property. To son John W. Meadows or heirs; to daughter, Jane Pierce, or heirs; Faitha Ware, my daughter; Susan Elizabeth Smith, my daughter, or heirs; Julia Ann Robertson, my daughter or heirs, all of my real and personal property at the death of my wife Susan. Son–in–law, James Robertson act as my executor, 3 September 1870. (signed) Jesse (x) Meadows. Test: D. J. Smith, J. W. Fleming, J.P. Codicil, 25 July 1874, My daughters–in–law, Mary Meadows and Susan Meadows shall have $5.00 each, I having done a good part for their husbands in their lifetime, and for the same reason, to the children of my son, Thomas Meadows, if any are living, the sum of $5.00. I also desire that my sons–in–law at my death, pay up all their indebtedness to me before they are entitled to their or wives pro rata share of my property. 78. i. John W.5Meadows, born circa 1822, married 3 February 1846, Harris County, Georgia, Elizabeth Milner, born circa 1816. They lived in Harris County, Georgia, in 1850.195
79. ii. Thomas W. Meadows, born circa 1823, will dated 21 August 1869, proved September 1870, Tallapoosa County, Alabama, married 14 March 1861, Tallapoosa County, Martha Susan Williams, born circa 1832, daughter of Josiah Williams. Martha was married first, 12 January 1854, Carter B. Harrison. Children of Thomas W. Meadows: Hundley Calhoun Meadows, born circa 1861, and Mollie Reid Meadows, born circa 1866. Susan Meadows lived in Tallapoosa County, Alabama, in 1870.196
