    Benjamin Meadows paid taxes in Greene County, Georgia, in 1809. He moved from Greene County, Georgia, to Jones County, Georgia, in 1810, with his grandfather Isham Meadows. Benjamin Meadows paid taxes in 1811 in Jones County, Georgia, on 202 ½ acres on Falling Creek, adjoining Downs, for Isham Meadows. Benjamin’s grandfather, Isham Meadows, died in Harris County, Georgia, 4 April 1829, aged 89.208
    On 25 October 1823, Benjamin Meddows and Garrett Hudman of Monroe County, Georgia, sold to John Lewis Ponder of Jasper County, Georgia, for $1250, Lot No. 16 in the 5th District of Monroe County, 202 ½ acres.209
    Benjamin Meadows was on the grand jury in Muscogee County, Georgia, in 1827, and on the grand jury in Harris County, Georgia, in 1828.210
    Benjamin Meadows lived in Jones County, Georgia, in 1820. He lived in Harris County, Georgia, in 1830211 and 1840, and in Chambers County, Alabama, in 1850,212 1855213 and 1860.214
    Benjamin Meadows of Chambers County, Alabama, sold land to Thomas B. Greene in Upson County, Georgia, 4 February 1846.215 Benjamin entered land in Chambers County, Alabama, in 1846.216
