| Benjamin Meadows paid taxes in Greene County, Georgia, in 1809. He moved from Greene County, Georgia, to Jones County, Georgia, in 1810, with his grandfather Isham Meadows. Benjamin Meadows paid taxes in 1811 in Jones County, Georgia, on 202 ½ acres on Falling Creek, adjoining Downs, for Isham Meadows. Benjamin’s grandfather, Isham Meadows, died in Harris County, Georgia, 4 April 1829, aged 89.208
