| | Edward S. Meadows lived in Putnam County, in 1830.277 He moved to Upson County, about 1831. Edward S. Meadows sold land in the 10th District in Upson County, to Edmund B. Atwater, 29 January 1838. On 6 August 1847, in Upson County, Edward S. Meadows to Benjamin Walker, trustee for Mary Ann Meadows, formerly Walker, wife of Edward S. Meadows, and his children, Permelia, Georgia Ann, William Henry, and Mary Eliza, six negroes in trust.278
