| The Vincent Meadows Bible was in the possession of Mrs. Ben Brock of Arabi, Crisp County, Georgia, in 1963.304

| | Vincent Meadows of Taliaferro County, drew Lot 41 in Troup County, in the 1827 Georgia Land Lottery. On 4 November 1830, in Troup County, Vincent Meadows of Troup County, bought from John Chapman of Taliaferro County, 101 ¼ acres, the north ½ of Lot 23 in the 12th District of Troup County, on Yellow Jacket Creek.305 On 2 February 1832 in Troup County, Vincent Meadows sold to Simeon Meadows, 101 acres in Lot 41 in the 12th District of Troup County.306

| | Vincent moved to Marion County, Georgia, in 1850. On 25 December 1850, William D. Chapman of Meriwether County, sold to Vincent Meadows of Marion County, 202 ½ acres, Lot 144 in the 3rd District of Marion County.307 8 September 1851, Martin D. Chapman sold to Vincent Meadows, 13 acres, the N.E. corner of Lot 113, 3rd District of Marion County.308 Vincent bought 32 ½ acres in Lot 264 of the 4th District of Marion County, from Abner Chapman, Jr., 7 November 1857.309

| | Vincent sold 47 acres of Lot 144 to Mrs. Mary J. Woodall, 3 August 1874.310 Vincent began signing his name with the middle initial T., in 1874, when he was seventy years old. There is no evidence that he had used the initial previously. Vincent later made several mortgages in Marion County, signing his name Vincent T. or V. T. Meadows.311
