| The Bible of Simeon Whatley Meadows was in the possession of Miss Addie Meadows, Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1976. Simeon and Susannah Meadows were members of the Enon Baptist Church in Heard County. He was 6’1” tall and weighed 160 pounds. She was 4’ 8” tall with dark brown eyes and black hair. Susan Chapman had red hair, blue eyes, and weighed about 100 pounds.

It was about 200 miles from their birthplaces.332 Simeon W. Meadows lived in Troup County, in 1830333 and 1840.334 His brother, Vincent Meadows, lived next door in 1840.

| | On 2 February 1832, Troup County, Vincent Meadows sold to Simeon Meadows, Lot 41 in District 12.337 Simeon Meadows was a Justice of the Peace in the 700th District in Troup County. Simeon Meadows, J.P. performed marriages in Troup County, from 1832 to 1836.

| | On 3 November 1833, Troup County, Simeon Meadows bought the north half of Lot 16 in District 12.338 On 2 December 1833, Troup County, Simeon Meadows sold part of Lot 41 in District 12.339 On 7 January 1834, Troup County, Simeon Meadows bought the southeast part of Lot 16 in District 12.340
