| Simeon W. Meadows lived at Enon Grove in Heard County, in 1860.347 Joseph Newman, Christopher B. Newman, and Sarah A. R. Newman, lived with Simeon. They were the children of his second wife, Mrs. Sarah Brown Newman. Enon Grove was in Georgia Militia District 779 and had originally been Red Bone District. It is bounded on the west and north by the Chattahoochee River and on the east by the Coweta County line. The Franklin–Newnan Road (State Route 34) passes near the southern boundary.
