| 64. Samuel4Meadows (Daniel3, Isham2, Daniel1), was born 20 July 1816, Greene County, Georgia, died 28 May 1892,401 aged 75, near Grantville, Coweta County, Georgia. He married 15 October 1846, Coweta County, Sarah Annette Cook, born 31 March 1827, Henry County, Georgia, died 14 December 1874, aged 47, near Grantville, daughter of John Cook and Martha Stell. Sarah A. Cook was a sister of Julia Ann Cook, who married Samuel’s brother, John Coggin Meadows. Samuel and Sarah Meadows are buried in the Samuel Meadows Cemetery, north of Grantville, Georgia.402

| | Samuel was about 5’9” tall and stout. He was a farmer in Coweta County, where he spent his life in a log cabin built in 1840 by his father, Daniel Meadows. Samuel Meadows lived in Coweta County, in 1860,403 1870,404 and 1880.405 His parents, Daniel and Anna Meadows, lived with him in 1860 and 1870.
