| pages 22-23 Morgan Co., Ga.: Articles of Agreement & copartnership, 13 Sept. 1820, between William Barrow & Archibald Y. Stokes, both of said co. & of the village of Madison, to take effect 13 Aug. 1820 the day the parties commenced business under the firm of Barrow & Stokes. Capital of $10,000, 1/2 furnished by William & other 1/2 to firm by Archibald Y. They agree to go equal shares in profits & losses & expenditures out of common stock to continue firm for 3 years.
