pages 307-308     Morgan Co., Ga.: 6 May 1822, Francis Kirby to Bartholomew Roberts, both of said co., for $100, 10 acres, part of Lot 270 in 15th Dist. of formerly Baldwin now Morgan Co. on Indian Creek waters, drawn by Major Hilliard of Washington Co., Ga., beg. cor. of Lot 270 in E. direction, W. to branch, up meanders of branch to spring on branch, line the N. side of spring leaving spring to Roberts, crossing branch straight to cor. in Lot 270. Kirby & Roberts shall have equal privilege of water of branch from spring to beach cor. admitting that neither of them nor the other includes or encloses more than 100 yards of the water at one place or in one field lot &c to which both have equal rights alternately to cross water for enough to comprise water enough for benefit of field lot. /s/ Francis Kirby.
