| page 221 Deed of Gift: 16 Feb. 1824, James Northington of Oglethorpe Co., Ga., give in fee simple tract in Morgan Co. on Shugar Creek waters, to my beloved son John Northington, 252 1/2 acres, is land where John Northington now lives, adj. John Morgan, David Lanier, & my 150 acre tract I lately purchased from Charles Cannon. Also, 8 negroes: Jenny, Clarissy, Crisy, Milly, Stephen, Ephraim, Daniel, & Davy with their increase.
