| pages 239-240 Power of Attorney: Dallas Co., Alabama: John B. Norris of afsd. co., appoint my brother Calvin R. Norris of Cahaba, said state, my lawful attorney, to receive my proportion of lands & other property of my late father Thomas Norris of Morgan Co., Ga. & make over & give up to my mother Sarah Norris of Morgan Co., Ga. I consent any division of the estate to her sole & only benefit during her natural life & then to revert to the heirs of John B. Norris. If there should be no heirs, then to revert to John B. Norris. If he should not be then living, to be disposed of as my mother Sarah Norris shall think proper. He may name a substitute, at Cahaba, Ala., 14 Feb. 1824. /s/ Jno. B. Norris. No witnesses.
