| page 269 Quit Claim: Morgan Co., Ga.: A copartnership existed between James Mitchell & Hamilton Burge, merchants trading under firm of Mitchell & Burge. Mitchell & Burge came to a settlement of their accounts. James has taken on the responsibility of closing the concern & settling debts due & collecting debts due the firm. He indemnifies Hamilton from debts. To James, all right, title, & interest Hamilton had, has, or was entitled to by the copartnership in the firm. The parties agree 1/4 part of the interest, real or personal property, goods, books, accounts, bonds, notes, judgments, or landed estate & Hamilton quits claims & releases to James all his interest, 5 May 1824. /s/ Hamilton Burge, James Mitchell.
