Thomas Barton, John Praeter, Jerry Bogus, & Thomas Adkerson, with present crop growing of corn & cotton Ruffin has in cultivation about 40 or 50 acres in corn & about 12 acres of cotton. Also, 2 cows, a black & spotted one, 4 feather beds & furniture, & a black horse, bridle, & saddle about 7 years old.
