pages 7-9     Morgan Co., Ga.: John E. Dawson, late of said co., died intestate seized of lands on big Indian Creek, leaving five children, viz: Ann B. Dawson, J. E. Dawson, Mary F. Dawson, Burrell Dawson, & Annibella Dawson, minors for whom Richard A. Blount & Douglas W. Porter were appointed guardians. Fortunatus S. & Henry H. Cook married Ann B. & Mary F. Dawson. It is deemed expedient to sell land for an equal distribution among the five legatees. Guardians advertised & obtained an order from Inferior Court of said co. to sell same. It was sold at the C.H., 1st Tues. in Jan. 1823 & Isaac R. Walton was the purchaser for $5000. 8 Jan. 1823, Richard A. Blount & Douglas W. Porter, guardians for John E. Dawson, Burrell Dawson, & Annibella Dawson & Fortunatus S. Cook & Henry H. Cook in right of their wives Ann B. Dawson & Mary F. Dawson, to Isaac R. Walton, tract on big Indian Creek waters, 487 1/4 acres, Lots 311, 312, & part of Lot 313 in 15th Dist. & 50 1/4 acres in 20th Dist., part of Lot 67 in originally Baldwin now Morgan Co. /s/ R. Blount, guardian,      D. W. Porter, F. S. Cook, Henry H. Cook. Wit: Milus C. Nisbet, Henry Sills, John Roberts, J.P. Ann B. Cook & Mary F. Cook, wives of Sidney F. Cook & Henry H.
