pages 92-93     Mortgage: Morgan Co., Ga.: 4 March 1823, Sarah Norris to James Irwin & Felix Bryan, merchants trading under firm of Irwin & Bryan, all of afsd. co., promissory note, 3 March 1823, for $226.74. Sarah Norris’s security is all of her undivided part of a house & lot on which she now lives & lot adj. both in the town of Madison, Morgan Co., [blank] acres. And, a negro man, Lawson, 24 years old, a boy, Patrick, about 18 years old, a woman, Suckey, 30 years old, a woman, Eliza, 24 years old, Violet, 16 years old, a boy Washington, 10 years old, a girl Harriet, 8 years old, a boy Green, 4 years old, a girl Minerva, 3 years old, a four wheel wagon, kitchen furniture, bed, furniture, & bedstead. And, 70 acres in afsd. co., adj. Boon, McCarton, & others where Fannin now resides. Sarah is entitled to a distributive undivided share of above property in her own right according to the statutes & is entitled to the distributive share of Benjamin P. Norris to the estate of Thomas Norris, decd. It is her intention to convey the whole of her interest as above.
