Each note is $26.79 plus interest & costs. Hardman made to Cook & Jennings 3 promissory notes for $68.72 due 25 Dec. next. Hardman’s security is four negroes, Lucy a girl about 13 or 14 years old, Esther a woman about 35 years old, Sally woman about 40 years old, & Dick a man about 35 years old.
