McCartan, Saffold, & others, & the town of Madison, beg. on line between McCartan & Saffold, S. 40 W. 12.92 links, S. 50 E. 6 ch., N. 38 E. 7.70 ch., S. 82 E. 1 ch. 10 links to beg. Also, part of lot with Store, back room, & cellar in Madison, is part of Lot 16 where the Masonic edifice now stands, 20 feet in front & to back street, adj. front by public square, one side by street, & other by house & lot at present used by J. Maguire as a grocery. Condition: Gowdy owes Walker for promissory notes: 14 Jan. 1825, $562; 28 May 1825, $540; 9 July 1825, $150.36; 1 Sept. 1825, $1050; 20 Oct. 1825, $797.64.
