| page 206 Morgan Co., Ga.: Writ of Fieri Facias issued from Superior Court of Morgan Co. at suit of John Allison & others against Remembrance Chamberlain, admr. in right of his wife of Dudley Peeples &c. Martin P. Sparks, sheriff of afsd. co., seized property of Remembrance Chamberlain, admr. 6 March 1827, exposed to public sale in Morgan Co. & George L. Bird & George Hardaway were the highest bidders, for $560, for tract in Morgan Co., in 4th Dist. of Baldwin Co. when surveyed, on Sugar Creek, adj. lands of Jordan, Gatlin, & others on road leading from Madison to Parke’s Bridge. Is tract where Dudley Peoples lived before he moved to Jacks Creek in said co., adj. Remembrance Chamberlain’s part of tract to include the balance of tract, 482 acres, in fee simple. /s/ Martin P.
