| page 224 Morgan Co., Ga.: 8 May 1827, Reuben Thornton to John Wingfield, both of afsd. co., for $100, in Morgan Co. on Appalatchee River, 388 3/4 acres, Lot 211 in 5th Dist. of originally Baldwin Co., granted to Lindsey Coleman, & fraction Lot 220, same district, granted to Fields Kennedy, in fee simple. Reuben sold John this land & made deed without a relinquishment of dower. This deed is given for express purpose of taking the relinquishment of dower. /s/ Reuben Thornton, Mariah T. Thornton.
