pages 311-312     Morgan Co., Ga.: Bennett M. Ware, the only legally appointed admr. (with the will annexed) on the estate of William F. Buchhannon, decd. 27 Feb. 1827, advertised that four months after date I would apply for an order to sell all real estate of William F. Buchhannon, decd. No person filed objections. 2 July 1827, court granted order for Bennett M. Ware, admr., to make sale of all real estate of decd. Advertised the sale of house & lot on N.W. side of the public square & contiguous back lot in the town of Madison belonging to estate of William F. Buchhannon. 6 Nov. 1827 at the courthouse door, exposed house & lot to public sale & Lucius L. Wittich was the highest bidder, for $1600. 9 April 1828, Bennett M. Ware, admr., to Lucius L.Wittich, both of afsd. co., lot on N.W. side of public square in town of Madison, Morgan Co., 75 feet in front & 200 feet back, adj. cor. lot occupied by & belonging to John Wingfield, & lot now occupied by Lodowick Schoonmaker on other side. Lot is 50 feet of Lot 15 & 25 feet of Lot 16 in front of public square & 200 feet back. Also, Lot 18 in Madison, in fee simple. /s/ B. M. Ware, admr. of the estate of Wm. F.
