Advertised & no persons filed objections. 5 May 1828, Benjamin Wallace, admr. of John Wallace, decd., advertised part of Lot 142 in 4th Dist. of originally Baldwin now Morgan Co. 6 May 1828, at courthouse door in Madison, sold at public sale to James B. Morgan, the highest bidder, for $23.50, Lot 142, beg. cor., S. 45 E. 9 ch. 70 links, S. 45 W. 20 ch. 60 links, N. 45 W. 9 ch. 42 links, N. 45 E. 20 ch. 95 links to beg., is tract where John Wallace, decd. formerly lived, 20 acres, in fee simple. /s/ Benjam.
