| page 446 Marriage Contract: Morgan Co., Ga.: Articles of Agreement between Hugh Means, Junior & Martha Odom, both of afsd. co., both of full age & competent to act for themselves have agreed to marry, but first making a marriage contract which we both agree at common law. Conditions: Martha is to stand possessed in her own right of a negro girl named Mary & the right of Martha to the negro girl Mary not to be altered by her marriage with Hugh Means nor shall he be able to transfer the right of the negro Mary to any persons.
