pages 61-62     Mortgage: Morgan Co., Ga.: 3 June 1829, Elizabeth Williams to John Vason, both of afsd. co., promissory note for $552.75 made 20 May 1829 due 1 Dec. 1829. Tested by Isaac Walker. Security: a negro woman named Nancy, bay mare, 2 cows & calves, 3 beds & bedsteads, all my household & kitchen furniture, plantation utensils, hogs, sheep, including all property of whatever kind I purchased at the sale of my deceased husband’s estate, including all articles purchased for me by John Vason. Also, my dower in lands of my husband’s estate. If Elizabeth Williams pays on time to John Vason this to be void, else to remain in full force. /s/ Elizabeth (x) Williams. Test: E. R.
