page 94     Mortgage: 20 April 1830, Reding Stocks to John W. Stark, both of Morgan Co., Ga., by promissory notes due 25 Dec. next due John W. Stark $62.50, 3 small notes, 2 for $25 each & one for $12.50. Security: 2 grey horses 10 or 12 years old, 2 cows & calves, sow & 6 shoats, household & kitchen furniture, plantation tools, & 101 1/4 acres in Troup Co., 5th Dist., 1/2 of Lot 167 where Lovey Langston now lives. Also, his interest in right of his wife in the estate of Moses Langston, decd. & his present crop now growing where he Stocks now lives. If Stocks pays Stark, this to be void. /s/ Reding (x) Stocks.
