pages 134-135     Ga.: Inferior Court of Morgan Co. sitting for Ordinary Purposes, 18 Sept. 1830. Application of Edmund Duke, admr. of estate of John P. Duke, decd. of said co., passed order for sale of the real estate of decd. Legal notice was given in the Georgia Journal for 4 months. Edmund Duke gave 60 days notice of sale. 7 Dec. 1830, exposed to public sale & Julius Skinner of Morgan Co. was the highest bidder, for $1055. 24 Dec. 1830, sold to Skinner, Lot 122 & part of Lot 133 & small parts of 2 or 3 other lots, all adj. Lot 122, 202 1/2 acres where decd. formerly lived including 152 1/2 acres being part of Lot 133. Also, 50 acres of Lot 133 & 87 1/2 acres being several parts of lots adj. known as the Sharp place, all in 20th Dist., in all 492 1/2 acres, in fee simple. /s/ Edmund Duke, admr. of John P.
